Agentic workflows go beyond classical automation: an AI agent receives a goal, independently plans the necessary steps, uses external tools — APIs, databases, communication channels — and executes actions across systems until the objective is met.
Instead of rigid rules, the agent responds to context: it makes decisions, checks intermediate results, and adjusts course when needed.
